What to bring to your Las Vegas tax appointment
A complete folder makes the visit shorter. Caza Finnancial is a family tax office in Las Vegas. We prepare personal, business, and rental returns in English and Spanish. Bring what you have. If something is missing, we will tell you on the call.
Identification
- Photo ID for each adult on the return
- Social Security cards or ITIN letters for everyone you are claiming
- A prior-year return, if you have one
Income
- W-2s from every job
- 1099s for contract work, gambling, or other income
- Unemployment, Social Security, or brokerage statements if you received them
Home, rentals, and family
- Form 1098 for mortgage interest
- Income and expense records for each rental property, including short-term rentals and duplexes to fourplexes
- Childcare and education receipts when they apply
Business owners
Bring a profit and loss statement if you have one, plus expense receipts, payroll records, and notes on any equipment you bought. We can rebuild the year from a box of records if that is where you are.
